so every year i participate in the susan g komen 3day for the cure: a 60 mile walk over 3 days that raises money and awareness for breast cancer research. this past year was the first time that my son was actually able to meet me at the finish line. thanks to a good friend who was standing behind him, camera ready, to capture this image of my reaction when i saw him. :)
A Night in Sweden’s Treehotel
In a remote part of Swedish Lapland, tucked away in a forest just south of the Arctic Circle, are the most stylish tree houses in the world. The Treehotel in Harads, Sweden, has five unique “treerooms” all elevated 4-6 meters above ground: The Cabin, The Mirrorcube, The Bird’s Nest, The Blue Cone, and The UFO. Each room was designed by one of Scandinavia’s leading architects with custom-designed furniture, lighting, and fabrics.

We’re very pleased to report that Coldplay have just been nominated for two awards at the 2013 BRITs. The band are up for Best British Live Act and Best British Single (for Princess of China).
